Memorable moments at Maxi’s
Love, commitment, nurturing, values and loyalty are a few characteristics that come to mind when trying to define a family. Since its inception 18 years ago, the family orientated restaurant franchise, Maxi’s has similarly encouraged its extended family of 75 restaurants to foster development and relationships, much like any parent would do. While being devoted to catering for all appetites by serving mouth-watering meals in generous proportions, Maxi’s commitment to providing a fun-filled and memorable experience for younger VIP guests is a crucial element towards the brand’s development. Christo Calitz, CEO of Taste Holdings Food Division says that Maxi’s has always kept young VIPs in mind: “In April 2010 the Maxi’s children’s menu, complimented by vibrant colours, was redesigned into the shape of a game console which appealed to children who could point out their favourite foods in a fun and interactive way. We continue to place emphasis on this market by revamping our play areas and introducing new goody bags for our Mini Maxi’s parties, to ensure that children always have a smile on their faces while visiting our stores.” The launch of the new Maxi’s children’s party packs this month will have children feeling like they are on an African safari. Filled with all sorts of fun activities, toys, balloons, invitations for their friends, and a choice of seven meals to fill their rumbling appetites, these packs are sure to get any party going. For R40 a person, the above and more is included to maxi’mise any child’s birthday. “It would make sense for any parent to want to host their child’s birthday party at Maxi’s. Not only do children have a choice of tasty meals and activities to keep them busy and smiling for hours on end, but the stress of preparing and cleaning is taken out of the equation – giving parents more valuable time with the kids,” says Calitz. Twenty-one Maxi’s restaurants currently have play areas on site, with more to be developed in the near future.
